| As toddlers reach that all important "two year" milestone, they say "goodbye" to babyhood and strive towards independence. Children will be introduced to the concept of learning centers for imaginary play, blocks, puzzles, creative art and dramatic play experiences. A balance of quiet activities with plenty of fun and excitement including music and movement, running and jumping will ensure your tireless two year old will never be bored! Teachers continue to reinforce the necessary, pre-reading skill, phonemic awareness, or the sounds of language, by singing nursery rhymes, poems, popular children's songs, reading Bible stories and simply talking with the children. |
